What do I wanna do? What do I wanna wanna do?

I was just thinking last week...what would I really wanna do if I can do anything I want?

My answer : I would really want to take 10 days off and do nothing but READ. Yes, read all the non-fiction books I have in my bookshelf, read the Bible and all the Christian books I have on my bedside table, read all the fashion magazines on my sofa, read all the Chinese books that are everywhere and somewhere around my apartment. But the reality is, I DO read.....I read my emails, day and nite, 24 seven. Its never ending...one email after another, one project after another. But I can't complain. I enjoy what I am doing. This is closest to TV production (far from it but closest) since I left TCS.

Its a jet-setting life this month. I am in Taipei this week, Chengdu and Guizhou next, Shanghai the week after, and SIN month-end.

Where's the time to READ?

U know u r making sense in China when the angmo guy u r talking to, turned and asked, "So how old are you Beng?"

U worry about yr mum and then prayed and then you don't worry no more. And then, u think u become complacent and u start to think, maybe u should worry? Her test n jab is this Tuesday. And u start to worry ...coz she sounded so down and looked tired. Then u asked yourself, when is all these going to end? What is life? Why do have to go through different pain at different stages of our lives? U suddenly realised in the last few months, U had no heartache. Coz u were pre-occupied with Mum's health issues. Ha Ha.

Malaysians are really HILARIOUS pp to hang out with. At least those in Beijing. They all have Phd in Hokkien it seems. Even my Singaporean friend Jo's only a Masters in Hokkien. As for me, lately I have obtained my BA in Hokkien. Thanks to the gals.

Out came the medical book....swollen feet...kidneys....

And as I am penning this, I have an idea...perhaps with it, Mum will be convinced to go for her appointment on Wed. Lord, are you talking to me?
